Fully weatherproof, the ODU32 is designed for mounting at the antenna location. It accepts and combines signals from the Wholeband LNB and digital terrestrial antennae [ DTT/DAB/FM ] which then modulates a laser inside the ODU32. Two optical outputs [ FC/PC ] are provided for distribution through a Passive Optical Network [ PON ] of optical splitters. Each output of the ODU32 can feed a PON with 32 presentations, this can be increased x 4 by first splitting the wholeband as shown in the photo to increase capacity to 256 fibre presentations. Different receivers can be connected to each fibre i.e. Quad to provide 4 x universal RF outputs to deliver a system total of 1024 Universal outlets, or Quattro for connection to RF multiway switches to further increase capacity. Standalone DTT/DAB/FM is also available.
